Fresh & LocalOctober is National Cheese Month. A whole month celebrating cheese? We are in! Join us this Tuesday and Thursday as CCFM staff cheese expert Patrick leads a cheese-making and appreciating demo. Learn how to make a delicious ricotta cheese (and maybe snag a sample!). This Saturday is also our monthly Marketeers activity. This month we will be doing a fun market scavenger hunt to celebrate Fall’s arrival. Mark your calendars for our yearly Halloween trick-or-treating extravaganza, Market Mash, on October 26 as well. Fall at CCFM is always a fun time! |
Pick of the Week: Cheese!High in calcium, protein and flavor, cheese is a winner in our book. Add some goat or cow farmhouse cheddar to apple slices for a quick appetizer or snack, or put a dollop of chevre or creole cream cheese into your morning grits…cheese can make any meal tastier and healthier.
