Pick of the Week: 19th Birthday Celebration! Can you believe it’s been 19 years since we first opened up our umbrellas at the corner of Magazine and Girod? This calls for a celebration! Come on out and grab a slice of birthday cake made by our very own Windfield Farm Bakery at 10 am, and stick around and enjoy some tunes from our favorite CCFM vendor band, the Delta Drifters. We’re so grateful for all of your continued support over the years, so come help yourself to some cake as a token of our gratitude! |
Tuesday’s Green Plate SpecialSeed brought some delicious vegan gumbo with them last Tuesday, changing the way many of us think about this southern staple. Omnivours, vegans, vegetarians, and gluten-free folks alike will get a kick out of the dishes they’ve been serving up, so if you fall in any of these categories be sure to come on out and grab a plate this Tuesday! |
Recipe of the WeekIn addition to okra, one thing you can find at most of our markets all summer long is creole tomatoes. Pick up a bag and try out this Cheesy Creole Tomato Pie recipe courtesy of Emeril Lagasse. |
