Celebrating 20 years of the Crescent City Farmers Market! | |
Fresh & LocalSave the date! It’s that time of year and we’re gearing up for our annual fundraiser, Moonlight Market, on Saturday, October 10th. This is sure to be a great time featuring 20 of New Orleans’ finest restaurants, garden-to-glass cocktails, local beer, live music, and silent auction, but this year will be all the more special as we raise our glasses and toast to the 20th anniversary of the Crescent City Farmers Market and to the legacy of Mr. Boatner Reily III. Thanks to the vision of Boatner Reily III and his generous donation of the mural-lined Reily Foods Company parking lot at Magazine and Girod, the CCFM has been the place where some of the region’s finest local producers have met to introduce fresh and local food to the New Orleans community for the last 20 years. Join us as we pass plates and raise our glasses to the agreement made between Boatner Reily III and CCFM co-founders Richard McCarthy IV, Sharon Litwin, and John Abaijan as we celebrate 20 years of the Saturday Crescent City Farmers Market! Click here for more information on Moonlight Market and to reserve your tickets today. |

Recipe of the WeekWe’re so thrilled to see the greens slowly make their return to market as the Fall continues its approach to New Orleans. They’re small in number now so be sure to get to market early to get some for yourself. The Monicas have been bringing some beautiful collard greens the past few markets. If you’re lucky enough to pick some up for yourself, why not try this Collard Wrap recipe out? |
