Crescent City Farmers Market

It’s Carnival Time...

...and everybody’s going to be having fun tomorrow at our Mardi Gras Market! We’ll have a King Cake tasting with cakes from our very own market bakers Challah at Me, Girls Gone Vegan, and Locally Preserved and we’ll be making Mardi Gras masks with the kids! Be sure to come out early though, because we’ll be closing market at 11 tomorrow due to parade traffic.

We’ll have a smaller crew of vendors than normal, but we’ll have plenty of fresh and local produce, fruit, seafood, meat, dairy, and baked goods! Check out the full line-up for tomorrow:

Produce: Perilloux Farms (winter produce), Tomotts (hot house tomatoes), Louisiana Gourmet Produce (heirloom varieties of winter produce), Cajun Growers (hot house tomatoes and peppers), Isabel’s Produce (winter produce, tamales, and salsa)

Fruit: A&K Citrus (citrus fruit, last bags of satsumas for the season), Johndale’s Farm (strawberries, and chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine’s day)

Meat/Seafood/Dairy: Four Winds Seafood (shrimp), Rocking R Dairy (cow and goat milks, cow and goat cheeses, beef, pork, eggs)

Baked Goods: Windfield Farm Bakery (breads, various baked goods)

Value Added: French Pickler (variety of pickles and pickled vegetables)

Flowers: White Oaks Farm (plenty of assorted flowers and bouquets for your Valentine’s sweetheart!)

Come on out and see us tomorrow before the parades to load up on some fresh and local fuel to keep you parading all weekend long!
