Coming Soon: Market Match Cap of $40/visit

We believe farmers markets should benefit farmers, shoppers, and the wider community. Through the Market Match program, SNAP shoppers receive dollar-for dollar matches to purchase the best local produce available at our markets and partner locations like Barcelo Gardens, Grow Dat Youth Farm, New Orleans Food Co-op, Top Box Foods, River Queen Greens, and VEGGI Farmers Co-op.

Greaux the Good, the statewide nutrition incentive program that supports Market Match, is growing - reaching more farmers and families. Beginning January 1, 2025, the match cap of $40/visit ensures equity and longevity of the program.

Note that while the cap is per market visit, you can still enjoy the benefit at each of our three weekly markets, dollar-for-dollar!

Join us at the 2025 Louisiana Farmers Climate Convening

The Louisiana Farmers Climate Convening is not just your average farming conference—it’s an opportunity to build connections, share knowledge, and shape the future of agriculture in our state.

“I had a chance to meet farmers from different areas, exchange ideas, and develop new relationships to increase my exposure to important changes and new developments in agriculture.”

– Lester Williams, Williams Produce, Batchelor, LA

Join us to connect, learn, and grow as we face climate challenges together.

There’s still time to register for the Climate Convening, January 5 and 6 in Chicot State Park! Space is limited, so grab your spot today by visiting http://bit.ly/LAFCC25.
