Market Umbrella is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3), based in New Orleans, whose mission is to cultivate the power of farmers markets to drive economic and community health in the region. Market Umbrella has operated the Crescent City Farmers Markets (CCFM) since 1995.

The Snoball Lady’s WheelHouse
Paulette, also referred to as “The Snoball Lady”, joined the market at the end of May, and we’re so glad that she did! A welcome addition to the Thursday Mid-City market, Paulette offers up an array of snoballs to choose from including more traditional flavors such as dreamsicle and wedding cake–sugar-free, clear, and cream options–as well as all-natural fresh fruit flavors made with ingredients sourced from the market! Paulette utilizes locally sourced ingredients to lovingly craft handmade syrups. Some of her natural flavors include Hibiscus Ginger Mint and Strawberry Cilantro Lime. A staff favorite is the Vietnamese Coffee Snoball, which is made with CCFM vendor Applied Arts Espresso! Be sure to treat yourself to something special and beat the heat with a fluffy, delicious snoball!
