Oven Roasted Figs
It’s officially fig season in Louisiana, and it’s kind of a Fig Deal! What is not to love about Figs? Figs are high in antioxidants, aid in digestion, and can even promote healthy skin! They’re like nature’s candy and a summer beauty supplement all in one. Enjoy a sweet summer treat with this simple oven-roasted fig recipe from give recipe. Serve with ice cream or yogurt from T&R Dairy to truly take it to the next level!
Ingredients
- 5 fresh figs
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- A handful of rosemary sprigs
- 1 and ½ Tbsp honey
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
Slice the figs as you desire and place in a baking dish.
Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on fig slices.
Toss rosemary springs over them.
Roast for 40 minutes and remove from oven.
Cool for 10-15 minutes and serve with honey.
