With a market to come, a restaurant to reopen, Seafood Sally’s and Carmo host pop-ups

Seafood Sally’s (8400 Oak St.) is a restaurant that treats the local catch a bit differently from the local restaurant standard. These days, the people behind it are working with that seafood differently even from their own norm.

Seafood Sally’s closed temporarily at the beginning of September with a promise to return in the fall. Now it’s hosting what is essentially a pop-up version of itself on the weekends, while also co-hosting a Monday fresh seafood market downtown at Carmo (527 Julia St.) as a preview for a full-fledged market soon to come.
