Que Pasta NOLA
Amanda Alard created Que Pasta NOLA in 2018 as a way to explore her own heritage of a Cuban father, Honduran mother, and Miami / Hialeah upbringing, while folding in her own interest in global flavors. She creates Latin American elevated street food inspired and elevated by her years spent cooking with her mentor, Brazilian chef Victor Santos in Miami. Que Pasta strives to create bold and adventurous dishes from scratch with a fondness for complex and layered flavors and attention to local sourcing of ingredients. Amanda's motto for Que Pasta is: "What being a black sheep tastes like." Chorizo lasagna, squid ink pasta, pupusas, and more are available at the Thursday Mid-City Market, the menu is always changing with Octopus specials every 8th of the month! You can also find her nightly popping up at Siberia Bar.
